Novak Djokovic has been the world number 1 for over 400 weeks and is still the leading man in Tennis. He is now officially one of the legends of the game with 98 Singles titles and 24 grand slams to his name. The Serbian powerhouse might be struggling to win a title this season but he is still one of the favourites to win in the ongoing Italian Open. This is also a tournament where Djokovic has been one of the dominant forces, winning 6 titles in Rome.

Though Novak Djokovic started the season well, there was an unfortunate incident where a plastic bottle which fell out of a backpack crashed onto his head while he was engaging with his fans after the win. This caused him to hold his head with blood gushing out as well. This was easily one of the most scary moments in the Italian Open that we have ever seen and we as fans are happy that he is still a hundred per cent fit and ready to play his 3rd round match tomorrow.

Djokovic has protection

Though this incident was scary and would have been a terrifying site for the fans who saw one of their favourite stars in pain, the world number 1 the next day was seen engaging with his fans in Rome once again wearing a cycling helmet on his head. This was Joker up to his antics where he was showing the entertaining side of his personality. This really left the fans in splits as Djokovic has turned a scary image into a comedic one engaging and signing autographs.

This was real comedic gold that shows why Djokovic isn't only one of the most talented players in the scene who is leading the race, but is also a great personality who knows how to engage and communicate with his fans. Though this has already given us a great glimpse of the legend of the modern era, it will be great to see him move forward and win his 7th title in the Italian Open going forward.
