Recently, the former player Andy Murray joined sides of Novak Djokovic as the Tennis coach. It came as a shocker for all the tennis fans to see the two rivals joining hands to train the World No. 7, Novak Djokovic. When asked about how Djokovic felt about having Murray by his side, he said, that it has been quite ‘strange’, but he feels it would be beneficial to get a ‘fresh look’ at his game from the perspective of one of his biggest rivals.

Murray retired during the Summer Olympics. He was just 37-years-old as he retired. Post that, he joined Djokovic’s team in the month of November. Recently, Murray has been by Novak’s side since the past Ten days, as he helps the Serbian to prepare for the new season. As per reports, Murray has not been accompanying Djokovic for the Brisbane International, this week. It has come to the attention that the two Wimbledon winners would join Djokovic prior to the Australian Open for training.  

'He is very Meticulous'

In a recent interview, Novak Djokovic praises Andy Murray’s coaching style. He said, initially it was strange for him to share insights on how he used to feel on the court, but gradually it felt good to be on the same side of the court and learn. Novak said, “He is very meticulous, he is dedicated. So, professional that it doesn’t surprise me, because I have known him so many years as a player. And obviously, it is a new experience for him as a coach.”

He further added that it came as a surprise for both the stars as they both decided to pair up as a coach-player. Following this, all fans have their eyes on the upcoming Brisbane Internationals where Novak shall pair up with Nick Kyrgios in the doubles before the 11th Australian Open title.
