Novak Djokovic beats Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-finals to make it to his 10th Wimbledon finals. The 24-time Grand Slam winner to face defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.

The time is near when we will finally get to see the champion of Wimbledon 2024 and it has been a great tournament to look forward to. The first semi-finals have already ended with Carlos Alcaraz making it to his second consecutive final. Now is the time we finally see who will be the player playing against him and get their opportunity to spoil his Wimbledon crown defense on the final day. 

The semi-final was played between 7-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic and Italian surprise package Lorenzo Musetti. This is the match where all the Djokovic fans were looking forward to seeing if the Serbian still has it in him to win his 8th title after returning from injury. However, he still had to win this semi-final game against Lorenzo Musetti who has also played some great tennis this season. It is safe to say we were expecting another great battle in the second semi-final.

Djokovic reaches 10th Wimbledon final

There is no doubt Djokovic has just come back from an injury but he has still managed to play some great tennis despite this. This is exactly what he showed us in the first set as he won it convincingly with a score of 6-4. This was a great start to his 13th semi-final of the tournament. The second set was a grueling battle between the two players which eventually was to be decided by a tiebreaker that went in favor of the Serbian once again. Now it was Djokovic's game to lose in the 3rd set and it was make it or break it for Lorenzo Musetti. Unfortunately for the Italian, it was the 24-time Grand Slam winner gets the victory to face defending champion Carlos Alcaraz for the title.

Though this was a game where Musetti did show a bit of a fight, it turns out he was no match for the Serbian. This day belonged to Djokovic where he achieved another straight victory in this semi-final and made it to his 10th Wimbledon final and his 36th Grand Slam final overall. Djokovic will be facing Alcaraz for the second consecutive time as well and will be looking for redemption this season. It is safe to say that we are up for another epic finale this season which everyone will be looking forward.
