The Paris Olympics is still a massive event and we have seen plenty of athletes give some great performances in this season already, especially in the game of tennis. Though there are a lot of great players in the singles events, there are some big players who are playing in the doubles as well. Some great and legendary duos are part of this event which we all are looking forward to. However, unlike singles, there is a level of teamwork which you have to show in the doubles which could be a big challenge for players.

One of the iconic duos in the men's doubles is Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal. This is the perfect duo with a great mixture of skill and experience with Nadal already one of the legendary figures in the game, whereas Alcaraz himself has a stellar career so far at only 21 years of age. This is the perfect combination of master and apprentice that we all have been looking forward to. The duo have had a great first-round match as well where they beat the Argentine duo of  Molteni and Gonzales in two straight sets. This time they were set to face the strong Dutch duo of Tallon Griekspoor and Wesley Koolhof who were another big challenge for Nadalcaraz.

The duo of Nadalcaraz which the Spanish duo is known started the game strong where they won the first set by a score of 6-4 and put the Dutch duo under pressure. However, Koolhof and Griekspoor were not going to take it lightly in the second set which went down to a tiebreaker which went in favor of them. It was a super tiebreaker in a do-or-die situation for both the teams. In the end, it was Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz who won the deciding tiebreaker by a score of 10-2 and made it through to the quarter-finals. This keeps the chances of the famous Spanish duo alive in the game and we are glad that we still get to see more of this iconic duo going forward.

This was a great match to watch where we saw two amazing and talented Spaniards fight it out in the match against a spirited Dutch duo. The Nadalcaraz duo is still alive and they will be hoping to go as far as they can in this contest. There is no saying how far this duo will go, but it has been a promising start to their Olympic campaign and we all will be hoping they can bring a medal to Spain. The Nadal and Alcaraz dream is still alive and we all will be backing them to keep giving us great performances.
