The Davis Cup Finals is set to take place tomorrow and we have already got our first finalists with the Netherlands beating the Germans yesterday. The second semi finals was now between defending champions Italy and last year's runner up Austrailia. Both these teams had to battle hard in their quarter final matches and were once again competing and this time it was for a place in the finals.

Berrettini gives the Italian's the lead
The Italians had to endure another gruelling battle in the first game which was set to be played between Matteo Berrettini and Aussie surprise package Thanasi Kokkinakis. Though Berrettini was considered the favorite he faced a bit of a shock in the first set as he fell short in tiebreaker. However, the former Wimbledon finalist made sure he made a comeback in the second set and in the end had the last laugh as he gave Italy the lead winning the game with scores of 6(6)-7(8), 6-3 and 7-5.
