Notably, Jessica Pegula has a great Miami Open 2025 stint. The star player showcased her best form in the semi-finals when she defeated teenage sensation Alexandra Eala. What is the secret to stopping Collins from winning the clash?

Meanwhile, Pegula has talked about her tactical brilliance and pragmatic adjustment, which allowed her to win this game over Collins. The tennis player talked about how she dominated her serves to thwart her fellow American from the prestigious tournament.

"In my mind, I knew I could beat her, that she had never defeated me, so I focused on having some patience and not succumbing to frustration. I just needed to move better, vary my serve a bit more, try to change the pace, and threaten her serve when possible. As the games went by, I increased the pressure, and in the end, it worked," Jessica Pegula said after the win.
