Notably, the game was halted for over 12 hours due to an extreme downpour in Florida, but it didn't disrupt their rhythm. The two players showcased stellar performances in their games. Mensik and Djokovic had a fine start, forcing the game into the tiebreaker. However, the Czech Star fought hard to take the opening set lead.

Mensik continued his great form in the next sets and dominated his pace, which allowed him to gain an advantage over Djokovic's weakness. Notably, the Serbian ace had the great achievement of winning his 100th ATP title. Still, the 19-year-old star player shocked not only his opponent but the whole tennis fraternity with his stellar performance.

Meanwhile, Jakub Mensik has opened up about his tactical skills and the pragmatic approach he used in this game. The Serbian ace has opened up about his emotions and feelings after beating the legendary player in the final showdown.

"To be honest I don't know what to say. It feels incredible, obviously. It was probably the biggest day of my life and I did super, which I'm really glad [about], to show the performance and keep the nerves outside of the court before the match. I feel just super happy and I think that the feelings will come later. There is no harder task in tennis than to beat him in the finals," Mensik said in his on-court interview.
