Meanwhile, Djokovic has stormed into his 142nd final game and now sets his eyes on clinching his 100th ATP title. The star player reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open 2025 but pulled out due to a grave knee injury.

After that, he made an appearance in the Qatar Open and Indian Wells, where he suffered first-round defeats. The 37-year-old legend last won a Paris Olympics gold medal, which marks his 99th career win, and since then he has been battling for his historic 100th ATP title win.

"It’s a great honour to have King Leo in the stands. I think it’s the first time I’ve played in front of Messi, and honestly, I was a little nervous. I am very grateful for his attendance with his family. I have always been a fan of him, as most of the world has, throughout his career. I don’t know what to say, I’ve been serving really well and hopefully I can continue in the same fashion because that definitely makes my life easier on the court," Djokovic said after the match.
