Tennis star Jack Draper celebrated undoubtedly the biggest milestone in his tennis career with his maiden ATP Tour victory at the Stuttgart Open 2024 on June 16. Former Grand Slam runner-up Matteo Berrettini forced him to work, but he turned in mature work to take the top spot in the British rankings with flare. Now, his focus will be on Monday, when the Queen's Club Championships commence.

Following crushing defeats in Adelaide earlier this year and Sofia last year, the 22-year-old has now improved upon his excellent improvement this year. However, before reclaiming the British No. 1 position from Cameron Norrie on Monday, it had been a successful maiden grass game played outside of the United Kingdom.

Watch here the celebration:

Speaking about the game here, Jack Draper came out on top with a 6-3, 7-6(5), 6-4 victory after defeating Frances Tiafoe, the winner of this event in 2022, in the third round. Berrettini got off to a bold start and broke the young Brit in the fourth game to 15 with some strong baseline play.

The Italian, who had already won the opening set with an ace after just thirty-one minutes of play, was having difficulties getting any momentum against the soon-to-be British No. 1. While Draper held all of his early service games in the second set and replied well, showcasing a few weaknesses in his armour, the former Italian No. 1 was also not giving anything away.

It was a really tough match, but really happy to win my first title: Jack Draper

"It was a really tough match, but really happy to win my first title. It means so much to me. There were a lot of tough moments the last year or so, and it's been up and down, but I'm really, really glad with the way I played. I think it's a testament to the work I've been doing.," said  Jack Draper after the match.

"It's incredible. I'm really happy to win my first title, it means so much to me. There have been a lot of up and down moments over the last few years but this is a testament to the hard work that I've been putting in," he added further.
