WATCH: Iga Swiatek qualifies for round 3 after one sided win over Diane Parry in Paris Olympics

There are plenty of great matches in store for us in the Paris Olympics and there are still a lot of great matches to look out for in the games. The player who seems to be the absolute favourite to win this contest is Polish Superstar Iga Swiatek. It has been a great season for her so far, especially on Clay. There are a lot of high expectations from the World number one who is also the highest-seeded player in the contest.

Iga Swiatek was set to play young French player Diane Parry in her second-round match and this is a match where she was once again considered a favourite. Swiatek started her tournament well after a straight victory over Begu in the 1st round, though this time she was up against one of the young stars in the game from France. This was still an encounter where the odds were in Swiatek's favour and was looking good in this match.

Swiatek has complete dominance over Parry

Though we did see a bit of wreckless tennis from Swiatek in her first game, she completely shut out all the criticism in this game. The Polish went on to dominate the entire match winning by scores of 6-1 in both sets. She once again proved why she is one of the best players right now and Parry was not given a single chance to come back in this game at all. This was another Swiatek classic where she completely dominated her opponent and made sure she made it through to the 3rd round of the competition.

This was a match which once again showed the dominance of Swiatek on clay once again as she went on to win another one-sided bout. She is one of the favourites for Gold this tournament and we all will be looking forward to all her matches in the Women's singles. We all hope the dominance of Swiatek never ends going forward in this contest.
