The first week of the US Open has alsready given us some memorable moments so far and we all have been looking forward to see which is the star who will finally secure Grand Slam glory. This has been a great tournament to look forward to and the fans have enjoyed supporting their favorite players in the Grand Slam event as well.
One of the favorite stars for the fans is Polish Superstar and World number one Iga Swiatek, who is one of the inform players in the season. The last match she featured in saw her being slightly nervy but she still managed a straight win. This time the Olympic medalist was up against Japanese player Ena Shibahara and was once again a clear favorite in this matchup considering her blistering form and being the highest seeded player in the tournament.
Another one sided victory for Swiatek
The last game was not the absolute best we saw of Swiatek in the tournament, so there was no doubt she would be looking to improve her game. This was visible from the first set itself where the Polish secured a bagel and put the Japanese under pressure. The second set was the same story where it was once again Swiatek at her dominant best and she made sure she comfotably made it through to round 3 after a 6-1 victory in the second set. This was the game where we got to see the best of the Polish superstar once again.

This is how we expect Swiatek to play and she was looking like a much better player. She has still kept her second US Open title hopes alive and there is no doubt she would want to continue playing with the same consistency and dominance which she has shown in this game. Overall we all will be looking forward to seeing the World number one playing in the upcoming game and see her dominate everyone.
