The Italian sensation has defeated formidable ATP player Alex de Minaur with a scoreline of 6-4, 6-2, and made it to the last eight rounds. Italian star Lorenzo Musetti was seen blushing as he could not stop smiling, glancing at their proposal, which was followed by hugs and kisses. The video of this proposal has widely been shared on social media, with fans witnessing Love in the air at the Caja La Magica.
Meanwhile, the Italian star and Aussie sensation last faced each other in the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 tournament. Musetti showcased his best form and stormed into the quarter-finals of the marquee event. This was a one-sided win for him over the Sydney-born star. The 23-year-old tennis star is now set to face Gabriel Diallo in the quarter-finals, with two ATP players aiming to seal the semi-final berth.

“I’m not surprised [to be in the quarter-finals], I’m surprised with myself. After Monte-Carlo, something changed in myself, a positive click forward. That’s something I have been waiting for for a long time. I feel more secure on what I have to do on the court. Of course I can lose, but I have the attitude and mentality of a Top 10 right now, so I’m really happy about that,” said Musetti after the win.
