Elena Rybakina gears up to be back in the WTA Top 10 rankings again!

Just a few days back, Elena Rybakina was spotted practicing at the Mutua Madrid Open 2025. The Kazakh star was seen gearing up for the first WTA 1000 clay season after her recent stint at the Billie Jean King Cup. The 25-year-old star player is yet to win her first-ever title of this season.

She showcased horrendous performances in the recently concluded Miami Open 2025, where she suffered a first-round exit. Rybakina must be looking to stage her comeback in the Madrid Open, taking place in the Spanish capital.

Meanwhile, the tennis player has pulled out from the ongoing Stuttgart Open 2025.  The defending champion prioritised the Billie Jean King Cup over defending her title in Stuttgart.

"I know that the schedule overall is very packed, and it’s not easy to even schedule the Billie Jean King Cup. But ideally, if we go to one part of the world, it will be nicer to play the same part. Now, for example, the clay court [season] starts and [some have] already played even tournaments on clay. So to come back and play hard, it’s a bit tricky. And ideally, if there is a tournament, it’s better to schedule it closer to where we want to be," Elena Rybakina said.
