After losing the match against Jannik Sinner at the Six Kings Slam exhibition event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Daniil Medvedev expressed his frustrations with the racket. 

Sinner outclassed Medvedev in the Quarters 

While Medvedev has historically had success against Sinner, winning six out of their previous encounters, the dynamics of their rivalry have shifted. Sinner has now won seven of their last eight matches. Most notably, in their latest meeting during the quarterfinals of the 2024 Shanghai Masters, Sinner secured a decisive victory with a score of 6-1, 6-4, further establishing his strong performance in recent tournaments.

Jannik Sinner showcased impressive form at the Six Kings Slam, skillfully clinching the first set 6-0, marking Daniil Medvedev's first bagel since 2020. Medvedev encountered challenges in the second set as Sinner broke his serve, taking a 4-3 lead.

Despite having multiple opportunities to break back and equalize, Medvedev couldn't convert four key breakpoints, allowing Sinner to pull ahead to 5-3. The Russian, visibly frustrated after a missed shot, expressed his emotions by letting his racket slip from his grasp.

The World No. 5 showed visible frustration during the match, as he expressed his feelings by forcefully hitting his racket against the ground.

Despite this, Jannik Sinner performed exceptionally well, securing a commanding victory with a score of 6-0, 6-3 against Daniil Medvedev, which earned him a place in the semifinals of the Six Kings Slam. Sinner will now face Novak Djokovic in this exciting upcoming matchup.
