American number 1 and WTA Finals champion Coco Gauff almost forgot her trophy after her press conference and was reminded by the reporters as soon as she was about to leave without her title. One of the most hilarious moments to witness from the youngest player to ever win a WTA Finals title.

The WTA Finals had some of the best matches we have ever seen and the player who finally went on to win the last tournament of the season is American number 1 Coco Gauff. The 2023 US Open champion beat Chinese number 1 and Olympic Gold medalist Qinwen Zheng in a thrilling 3-set battle which was memorable for the fans in Riyadh who witnessed the whole match.

Gauff forgets the title

The WTA Finals was one of the most successful tournaments for Coco Gauff as she became the youngest player to ever win the title. The 20-year-old has been having a roller coaster of a season but will be happy that she has finally ended it on a high by winning the last tournament of the season. However, there was another highlight that took place during the press conference after the final where the American number 1 almost forgot her WTA Finals title. It was a hilarious moment when the reporters had to remind her to not forget the trophy. This was one of the most hilarious moments during the tournament.

This has been an iconic end to a season where Gauff has faced a lot of ups and downs and to think that she will forget one of the biggest titles of her career is something none of us expected at all. All we can say is that the stars of the sport may be machines on the court but in the end, they are still human.
