The first day of the World Tennis League 2024 season three ended brilliantly on December 19, as the Kites secured a resounding 25-30 victory against the HonorFX Eagles in the second game match taking place at Etihad Arena on Thursday.

However, Jasmine and Casper Ruud, after taking some time to find the momentum, turned down the clock to win the set 6-4, putting the Kites much ahead in the game and thwarting Badosa and Alexander to register their win in the mixed doubles thriller.
Back to men's singles. Casper Ruudmaintained his classic form as he registered a resounding 6-4 victory and further extended the Kite's lead to 12-8. The Norway-born star said that he and Jasmine had a great double set, which allowed him to win the game by 6-4. Speaking after the game, Ruud reflected, “We started well; Jasmine and I played a good mixed doubles set; we won that 6-4, and then I played a good singles set. I’m happy with my level, with my performance, and looking forward to coming out there again tomorrow. Our team is super relaxed, and we have good light moments during sets.
