The 2nd day of the Roland Garros also had a massive opening for all the tennis fans. There were some big matches on the card that we all were waiting to see. The first round in itself had a great number of matches where all of us wanted to witness the best players on the card against each other in the first round itself.

The match that was set to be the headline of the day was between Rafael Nadal and Alexander Zverev. Who would've thought that the King Of Clay would be up against one of the upcoming stars in the first round of the tournament itself? These two players were also playing their 11th game together and there was a huge audience there to witness this iconic match between the German sensation and the 14-time champion.

Though this was the day for Nadal and Alexander Zverev's time to shine, they were not the only iconic players who were there at the venue. There were two big players in the stands who were there to watch the game as well. They were none other than World number 1 and arch-rival Novak Djokovic and fellow Spaniard and world number 3 Carlos Alcaraz. It was clear that these two players also wanted to witness this game which featured one of the best players in the sport.

This shows the legendary status of El Nino which will never be matched by anyone in the sport. Knowing this will be the last French Open that will feature Nadal is a big thing for every tennis fan, especially during a tournament where he has given us many iconic moments in the sport. the 22-time Grand Slam winner and former world number 1 will never be forgotten since he has given us some of the best matches and will still be considered one of the biggest legends of the game.
