The time for Grand Slams is over and it is now time for the nations to compete with one another in the Davis Cup this season. This tournament will not be for ATP points but a chance for the top players to represent their nation and give their best performances. This will be a tournament which everyone will be looking forward to the top nations in the tennis world.

Many nations have one top-ranked player in the mix, but the Spanish teams still have some of the top and upcoming stars in the game. The player to watch out for will be Carlos Alcaraz, who has also had a decent season despite facing setbacks in the last two tournaments in which he has featured in. This upcoming tournament will be where the young Spaniard will look to get back to his best going forward.

Alcaraz and Ferrer try their hand at golf

There is no doubt that Alcaraz will be unhappy with his early exit in the US Open where he was eliminated in the second round. However, this does not stop his funloving personality which he dispalyed everytime on and off the field. This was shown during one of the warmup sessions in the Davis Cup itself where the 4-time Grand Slam champion was trying to play some golf with his tennis racquet and was also assisted by his captain David Ferrer as well. It is safe to say that they were having a lot of fun together and celebrated as soon as they got the ball in spot.
