Some iconic legends were playing in the Paris Olympics this season, especially in the game of tennis. It has been a great tournament where we have seen great performances from amazing players. One of the big legends who was featured in this event was none other than Andy Murray, who was once again leading the British team in this Olympics once again.
Andy Murray also had a decent outing in this edition where he only featured in the Men's double event with Dan Evans this time. The duo eventually made it to the quarter-finals but in the end, had to accept defeat against the American duo of Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul which ruined their chances for a medal in the Olympics completely. This was also the final game of Murray's career as he officially announced his retirement from the game after the global event.
It has still been an iconic career for Murray as he has won some memorable titles throughout the season where he has won 46 Career titles and 3 Grand Slams along with two Olympic Gold medals. It is safe to say that he has established himself as one of the most legendary figures of the game already. The Former World number one also sent an emotional message on social media where he emotionally thanked the fans for sticking with him throughout his career. We could see the real emotion in Murray's eyes who is finally leaving the game he loves and has given him everything.

This shows that the British legend has always appreciated the support from the fans throughout his career. It has been a great journey to follow which also had its fair share of dramatic moments. Although we all expected him to do a lot more throughout his career it was still a career filled with some memorable matches and moments that the tennis fans will never forget as he was the only player to compete with the big three and achieve successful seasons as well. Overall we all will miss the English legend a lot as he finally bids adieu to the game.
