"I told him at the net I wanted to talk about it with him inside. I don't want say too much [outside]. I don't want to say the wrong things. I mean, it's all good. Everything's gonna be fine. No, he didn't but it looked like it, I mean he had to go off-court so something with his glute. It's what it looked like and I saw him grab it a couple of times," Alex Michelsen refuses to open up about his brief on-court feud.

Michelsen noted that Mmoh appeared to have a glute issue, which might have contributed to his retirement. After Michelsen took a 3-0 lead in the second set, Mmoh was unable to continue the match. Following the same, Alex Michelsen advanced to the quarter-finals of the Delray Beach Open 2025 in Florida.

Michelsen, the world number 37, entered as a number three seed here and received a bye in the first-round thriller. Earlier, the star player made it to the quarterfinals of the ASB Classic and gained attention when he defeated 11th seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the opening round of the Australian Open 2025.
