Tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz once again lived an unforgettable moment ahead of his quarterfinal round against legendary player Novak Djokovic of the 2025 Australian Open on January 21. The 21-year-old tennis star was spotted with a differently abled kid named John during the warm-up area of the showpiece event. Alcaraz went towards him and greeted him before leaving for a practice game.

Meanwhile, this kid stole the limelight during the Alcaraz's third-round match against Nuno Borges, as this kid was brought into the court and tasked with doing the toss coin, and the child did not hesitate to showcase his excitement to be there. Following the same, the 21-year-old tennis star showcased his lovely affection to the small child, who left to a standing ovation from the Rod Laver Arena at the Melbourne Court. In addition, the Spaniard further took him to the press conference after reaching the fourth round.

Carlos Alcaraz set to face Novak Djokovic in quarterfinals 

For the Spaniard, the excitement is palpable as he won the fourth round of the Australian Open 2025 after Jake Draper retired hurt due to an injury. The Spaniard aims to win his first Australian Open title this year and add to his impressive collection of four Grand Slam trophies, including two Wimbledon titles to his name, with one French Open and US Open each. However, Alcaraz now has a big challenge as he is set to face 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic in the quarters, who already has 10 Australian titles to his name.
