Wimbledon 2024 is one of the biggest Grand Slam events and though we did not get the top 3 players in the tournament, we still saw some great performances from players like Jasmine Paolini and Barbora Krejcikova. This final was iconic as well where we saw both the players battle it out in a 3-set thriller. Though Krejcikova managed to get the victory and won her 2nd Grand Slam title, Paolini still gave a great battle. Overall this was a match worthy of finishing the Grand Slam event on a high note.

4. Iga Swiatek vs Naomi Osaka- Roland Garros 2024 2nd round

It is always rare to see two of the biggest players in the Tennis World compete in just the second round of a Grand Slam event, but we still got a great match. Iga Swiatek was the defending champion and we all thought that it was going to be a one-sided encounter considering Osaka's form. However, we got the match of a lifetime and it was great to see Osaka showing a glimpse of her brilliance despite facing a loss at the end of the match. This was a great match between the top players of their generation and the fans got everything they ever wished for.

3. Coco Gauff vs Qinwen Zheng- WTA Finals 2024

The next match was just recent where we get to see the brilliance of two of the young and sensational players in the WTA right now. Both Coco Gauff and Qinwen Zheng are the top players in their respective nations and this was a great final battle between the two in the final tournament of the season. Though it was Zheng who won the first set, it was Gauff who made an epic comeback and became the youngest player after Maria Sharapova to win the WTA Finals. This was one of the best moments in her career and we hope we keep getting to see great performances from her.

There have been plenty of great Italian players who we have seen this season and one of them was Jasmine Paolini. The Wimbledon semi-final was one of the iconic matches we saw her competing in as she was up against Croatian number 1 Donna Vekic. Though Vekic had got the better of the Italian in the first set, the Italian chose to fight back in the last two sets and set up a thrilling tiebreaker in the last one. Paolini surprised everyone once again and went on to qualify for her second Grand Slam final in a row.

1. Iga Swiatek vs Aryna Sabalenka - Madrid Open 2024 Final

Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka are currently one of the strongest rivalries in the game right now. Out of all the matches this season the Madrid Open was perhaps the best match between the two. Though it was Swiatek who went on to win another ATP 1000 on Clay, we should also give credit to Sabalenka for giving her a tough match. Swiatek was almost outdone in this 3-hour match which ended in a thrilling tie-breaker in the end making this rivalry even more iconic.
