There have been plenty of great and talented players in tennis, but along with the talent you also need to have the consistency in the game to make sure you win big in the future. That is exactly what has been missing in players like Stefanos Tsistsipas whose poor form continues this season. After winning a title in Monte Carlo the former World number 3 has once again fallen out of the top 10 rankings and is struggling to play his best game in the Grand Slam events.

Due to this poor form there are a lot of changes that Stefanos Tsitsipas has gone through one of the major ones is when he chose to sack his father Apostolos Tsitsipas as his coach. This was one of the most trending stories that caused a lot of drama on social media. Whether this will get his game to the next level is what we just have to wait and see in the future.

Tsitsipas opens up on strained relationship with father

This was a big decision to make for the player, but nobody really knew the reason behind the decsion taken by the 2-time Grand Slam finalist and current World number 11. We also have no idea on who is coaching him for the rest of the season. However, Stefanos has opened up on the matter saying that he wants to build a better relationship with his father saying " The expectations and pressure of the tour have separated us in recent years. I think that's normal, because at the end of the day I'm in business with my father. That can create more distance than bond in many father-son relationships."

This seems like a valid reason for Tsitsipas who is thinking about mending his strained relationship with his father. Along with this he also opened up on who also further added on who is taking over his training in camp saying " I have our Davis Cup captain who will help me in the coming weeks as a coach. I know him very well, I hope he gets the best out of my tennis and that we grow together." Overall this all seems like a way of changing his ways and we hope we see some great performances from him in the ongoing US Open.
