The tennis world has said their final goodbyes to the one and only Rafael Nadal who officially announces his retirement from the game after 23 years. Some of the big names in the game have reacted to the news and will truly miss the King Of Clay who has given us some of the best moments in the game throughout his career.

We all know the great achievements of Rafael Nadal, but we also have to remember him as one of the most iconic personalities in the tennis world. There have been a lot of people in the tennis fraternity who have admired the 22-time Grand Slam winner and the number of iconic matches he has given us in his long and decorated career. There are some unforgettable moments featuring the King of Clay who the fans have celebrated for a long time.

The Tennis World reacts to the news

There is no doubt that Nadal has touched the hearts of many fans and players in his prime and there is no doubt that there will be some iconic players from around the world who will also miss him. Some big names in the tennis world have reacted to the news and one of the notable ones is Roger Federer who was one of his biggest rivals and friends saying, "What a career Rafa! I always hoped this day would never come. Thank you for the unforgettable memories and all your incredible achievements."

Even his Spanish protege Carlos Alcaraz also commented on the news saying " From the boy who watched you on television and dreamed of becoming a tennis player to who had the immense gift of playing by your side in Roland Garros representing Spain in an Olympic Games!  Thank you so much for being an example on every level."

These were not all as there were also some comments from Paula Badosa and Nick Kyrgios as well after hearing the news. With these wishes from everyone, there is no doubt that everyone will be missing the King of Clay after the Davis Cup.
