'Someone please explain...'- Frances Tiafoe's girlfriend speaks on the controversial point in his loss against Tabilo

The hard court season has started with the beginning of the National bank Open which is happening in Toronto. There are some big tennis stars that will be competing in this tournament. One of the promising stars in the tournament is Frances Tiafoe who is currently having one of his worst seasons so far. However, he is still regarded as one of the favorites being a great player on this surface.

Frances Tiafoe was set to play his round one game against Chilean talent Alejandro Tabilo. Unfortunately for the American he had to endure a straight loss and get eliminated from the tournament completely. This was once agains one of the disappointing matches Tiafoe has played this season which also had some controversial calls from the officials which has created some drama.

Tiafoe's girlfriend bashes officials

There are a lot of calls made by the umpires that are not sitting well with some experts and people. This is the same case for Frances Tiafoe's girlfriend Ayan Broomfield who was not happy with one of the calls made by the referees. There was one point where Tabilo had hit it out but Tiafoe did not end up getting the point at all since the players kept on playing and there were no challenges made. This made Broomfield completely bash the officialls saying " Someone please explain to me how they didn’t give Frances this point when it was clearly stated that his opponent hit the ball out genuinely confused, 30-30, serving down 4-5. no player challenges, only electronic line calling. There was ELECTRONIC proof that he won the point."

It is safe to say that Broomfield is not happy with the officials at all and this is the call that might have cost Tiafoe the game as well. This was another attack on the officials which could also be frustration taken out by Broomfield since it cost the game for her boyfriend as well.
