The main draw of the French Open has finally started and this is the time that we get to witness the big players of the season compete against one another in one of the biggest grand slams of the season. The Roland Garros has been one of the iconic tournaments played on one of the toughest surfaces in the game.

The game that will be in the talks is between Carlos Alcaraz and JJ Wolf. This was the time for Carlos Alcaraz to come back from his injury and announce himself in this Clay season finale. being one of the highest-seeded players in the tournament there is no doubt he was the favourite in this encounter against the unseeded player in JJ Wolf. This was a game that looked like a one-sided victory for the world number 3 on paper.

Carlos gets an easy win

The reason  Alcaraz was a favorite is not only because he was a high-seeded player, but also one of the best players on clay. This was evident in the first set itself where the Spaniard had completely dominated the first set winning 6 games to 1. This showed that Alacaraz meant business straight away as he came into this match. The second set was another one-sided encounter bout that saw Alacaraz once again win the second set 6-2. This was a game where Alacaraz looked completely in control in the match so far. The third set was the same story as Alcaraz gets a straight victory over Wolf and qualifies for the 2nd round.

This was a perfect start to Alcaraz's season after coming back from a devastating wrist injury which saw him miss most of the Clay season. This victory will surely give him all the confidence and we hope that he finally gets close to winning his first-ever Roland Garros title. The young Spaniard is looking in great form and we hope we keep getting consistent performances going further into the competition.
