Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer met each other for the first time since Roland Garros 2025, where the former was honored with a special farewell ceremony. Two of Tennis's greatest players interacted with each other, along with Federer's wife, Mirka, at the Rafael Nadal Academy in Spain's Mallorca. The trio met fans and upcoming Tennis stars, making their day worth remembering.

Nadal took to social media platforms and uploaded images of their visit to the Rafa Nadal Academy. On X, he wrote " 👋🏼@rogerfederer! Really enjoyed our morning together at the @rnadalacademy ! 🤗" as it went viral soon. In another post, Nadal uploaded a different image of himself being together with one of his biggest rivals, with a laughing emoji.

During their playing days, Nadal and Federer started their careers as big rivals. With time, their bond got stronger, and their rivalry turned into friendship. The duo came to be fondly known as 'Fedal' by the fans, which was a combined name of the first three letters of Federer and the last three letters of Nadal.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal's unique friendship

Their meeting in Mallorca was their first since Nadal was honored at the Roland Garros 2025 by the French Open authority with a special farewell ceremony. Nadal gave a heartfelt speech and remembered how important the Clay Court Grand Slam was in his career. He was later joined by three of his greatest rivals, Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray.

In the 2000s, Federer and Nadal shared the biggest Tennis rivalry and together ensured they got better by pushing each other. Djokovic later joined them in the 2010s and started the phenomenon that would later be known as the 'Big 3'. The trio has 66 Grand Slam titles to their name in the Men's Singles Tennis.
