The US Open is another big tournament which all of us will be looking forward to and we all will want to see who will be the player to watch out for in this upcoming Grand Slam event. We already know about the rising prize pools of this tournament and there will be a lot of fans who will be looking forward to this draw as well. This will be the tournament that could set the stage on fire in New York which is after all the city of dreams.

There have been a lot of great players who are looking forward to this season and the fans were also thrilled to know that the tournament might include the legendary Rafael Nadal as well. This news was enough to expect that the Spaniard who is most likely in the last phase of his career will be featuring in the final Grand Slam of the season. There is no doubt that a lot will want to see the 38-year-old perform in another major event and finally see him end his career on a high.

Nadal withdraws from another Grand Slam

Nadal is one of the most loved and adored players in the game of tennis and there will be a lot of people who will want to see him perform but unfortunately for his massive fanbase they will not be seeing the 22-time Grand Slam winner and two-time Olympic Gold medalist in the tournament as he has officially withdrawn from another major event. This will be one of the most disappointing news that will upset all the fans in the tennis world. There was huge hype for Nadal to be playing in this major tournament, since we have only seen him in the Roland Garros this season where he suffered a rare first round exit.

There might be a lot of people who will surely be disappointed with this decision, but in the end we have to remember that Nadal has been at his best to play another major tournament. However, there is still some hope to see him perform as Nadal might still feature in the Laver Cup which will be another great tennis event where he can still manage to finish on a high, but we also have to live with the fact that these could be signs that EL Nino might finally say good bye to his professional career.
