The Madrid Open will now go into the bigger games on Saturday and we are set to see some great matchups. The match will feature 22-times Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal and Australian upcoming talent Alex de Minaur. This is set to be an epic encounter between two aggressive players where Nadal will come with his powerful groundstrokes and de Minaur will look to impress with his speed and agility through which he could cover the whole court easily.

It is still early into the tournament for both these players so far where De Minaur will be starting off the tournament against the King of Clay and this will be the second game for the Spaniard after a domination victory in the first round against Darwin Blanch. Nadal, even though is considered one of the best players in the world, has not been in the game for a long time and has fallen drastically in the rankings. Alex de Minaur on the other hand, has shown a lot of promise and is on the 11th position in the ATP rankings. He has also won the Mexican Open this season as well.

Head to Head preview: The revenge saga for El Nino

Both these players have not played a lot of games so far and have featured in only 5 games. They still have had some close matches in the past which can make this another epic encounter. Nadal right now has the lead over the Aussie winning 3 games while De Minaur has won only 2. However, De Minaur will still be confident as he has beaten Nadal in the last two encounters which also includes eliminating him in his comeback ATP tournament in Barcelona. This sets up a great revenge fixture for Nadal going into the match.

Though we all want to see Nadal get through this match against De Minaur and finally get his sixth title victory in Madrid looking at the last two matches between the two it sure is not going to be that easy for Nadal. This will still be a game to look forward to where we will want to see two amazing players battle it out once again on the court. It is safe to say that this is a game we would like to see in the Spanish capital which has promised us a lot of iconic games.
