The Roland Garros is just days away from the beginning and it is time the fans get to witness the Clay season finale this season which will be one of the most iconic Grand Slams. This will be a tournament which will feature the best players in both the WTA and the ATP scene who will compete for the title. There have been a lot of legendary players who have gone on to win this tournament playing on one of the toughest surfaces in the game.

Though there will be a lot of iconic players in the mix the one player who has been the pioneer of Roland Garros is none other than the King of Clay Rafael Nadal himself. Nadal has been one of the most dominant players on clay known for his powerful forehands and brilliant backhanded top spinners that have won him a lot of games. He has already won the Garros 14- times and will be making his 19th appearance in this upcoming Major tournament.

Nadal to start practice

Though it has to be a peak season for Nadal on this occasion, there will still be a lot of love and support for the 22-time Grand Slam champion and world number 1. This will also be the first time Nadal will play as an unseeded player in a major tournament and it will be interesting to see how far he can go. Nadal has reached Paris and will be having his first practice session on the Philippe Chatrier court today.

Nadal will start his practice session from 5:00 pm till 6:30. It is great to see El Nino put in the work just before the tournament in what will be the last time he will feature in the tournament. Nadal has been one of the best players in this tournament and there is no reason that we should judge him based on his form right now. For us, it will be another tournament where the Spanish legend will be celebrated once again.
