WTA World number 14 Paula Badosa goes to war with the fans after racist photo controversy goes viral on social media. The Spanish Star went on a whole anti-bullying rant on social media fighting with all the fans who were questioning her on joking about the photo with her coach.
There is no doubt that Paula Badosa is one of the top Spanish Tennis players right now but recently has been getting a lot of backlash for the controversial chopsticks photo which was posted by her coach. The fans continued to attack her and make racist allegations about her as they found the picture offensive to the Asian community. Though Badosa went on to apologise for this incident, the damage has already put her in a bad light among the tennis fans.

The picture was deleted by coach Pol Toledo Bague, However, Badosa's joking about the incident on her latest story caused the backlash to start once again. This time the Spaniard went to war with the fans as well and started answering to them saying, "Do you know me to say all this kind of things? Who do you think you are to judge me without even knowing anything about me? I think this proves more the person you are than me. If you knew me a 1% you would know I’m the kind of person that tries to find humour on negativity."
This statement on social media was enough to tell us that WTA World number 14 and 2-time Grand Slam quarter-finalist was not happy with the fans attacking her. This is not all as the also went on to give a bullying rant as well clearly stating, "People like you are bringing too much negativity on this world so I try to turn the situation around. Because all this bullying is insane and it’s ridiculous." Though we appreciate Badosa for taking a stand with what the fans are saying it is clear that she has hurt some sentiments and she is not handling the situation in the right way.
