The season for tennis has been going on and it has been great for the fans to see a lot of talented players in the mix giving us some great performances. The ATP and the WTA have continued giving us some great seasons and we all have been looking forward to see our favorite players perform and win some big titles, However the players also have some challenges as well when the season is on.

One of the major issues the ATP and WTA players have faced is the jarring schedule which has been really tiring for them. This has been a story even the top ranked players have struggled with and have had a major issue with. The increasing amount of tournaments have put a lot of workload on the players and we hope we hope the organisations try to improve the situation so that the players can enjoy their game.

Swiatek on the struggles with the schedule

One of the players that have voiced their opinion on the matter is World number one Iga Swiatek. The Polish superstar has opened up on the issue in an interview saying " Obviously it’s not our decision, but for sure I think we have too many tournaments in the season - it’s not going to end well, and it makes tennis less fun for us." These are really strong and truthfull words from the 5-time Grand Slam winner who opened up on a matter and giving a warning to the organisations.

This issue has been a problem for the players and Swiatek was right to give her views on the matter of how much workload is put on the players. Every tennis fan will be hoping that there will be something the ATP and the WTA can do to improve the situation and the game for the players where everyone can enjoy the season and not worry about injuries and overworking in some tournaments.
