Tennis star Novak Djokovic hopes for a last dance with his rival Rafael Nadal, and he believes that it will be stunning if they both face each other at the ongoing Italian Open 2024, taking place in Rome. Notably, the tournament is set to be very special for Novak and Nadal.

However, Novak Djokovic feels that there is a probability of meeting them both in the final game. Notably, both star players have been in the opposite draw for a long time and have been the main rivals who always push each other to their limits and play the matches on different surfaces. However, Djokovic wishes to have a great dance with Rafael Nadal on the tennis court.

World No. 1 Djokovic told Tennis TV: “I saw we are in opposite sides of the draw so if we do get to meet here it would be finals, which would be spectacular for both of us, but it’s still a very long way.

“We haven’t been part of the same draw for quite a while, so that’s something we are not used to. For so many years we have been main rivals and always pushing each other to the limit and playing so many matches on different surfaces. Let’s see if we get a chance to have one last dance anywhere, it would be nice I think for us and the tennis world in general.
