During the Six Kings Slam Tournament, the 24-time Grand Slam winner regarded Sinner and Alcaraz to be playing a near perfect game in the last few years. While he felt it's very frustrating to play the duo at their level, he regarded it to be great for the sport.

"Jannik and Carlos are playing as close to perfection right now in the last year as they can be. To be honest, it's quite frustrating to play them when they are playing at such a high level. However, at the same time, it's great for our sport," Djokovic said, as he accepted the evolution of the sport.

He accepted the fact that the two youngsters are held and shoulders above everyone, including himself. Novak noted how he believes he could push himself harder just like he believed even during his prime.

"The new reality is the way it is. I have to be satisfied with the top-5 spot in these circumstances. That's how I see it. I know that I'm very self-critical in the sense that I know that I can always play better, and even when I was at my highest level, I felt like I could play better," Djokovic added.
