The Automated shot clock has been one of the biggest infamous topics in the ATP scene with several players having a problem with it right now. It all started with Carlos Alcaraz who had a big altercation with an official over this issue as he suffered two time violations at the China Open. Djokovic unhappy with the new rule
This automated shot clock system has continued to be a problem for a lot of the top stars and we have seen some big outbursts from the players. The most notable one was Frances Tiafoe who was unhappy and cursed at the umpire after the match. Novak Djokovic also had a huge altercation with the chair umpire during the match saying " I mean for four years we've had this situation where we can't get the towel, right? Ball kids are doing their best but they’re not being trained. Without even notifying any players, you start this new rule. I mean, it's incredible. Honestly."

The players are already having a problem with the schedules and we hope this does not become a huge problem going forward as well.
