Sharapova to join 2025 Hall of Fame Class
The emergence of Maria Sharapova was what gave us some of the best moments in the game where she was part of some of the best rivalries in the game as well. There was a time when Serena Williams continued her dominance in the World of Tennis and the player who finally broke that dominant run as the 16-year-old Sharapova beat the American legend in straight sets. This was the onset of her career as she established herself as one of the newest leaders of the game. Apart from this, Sharapova also won 36 WTA titles overall. Looking at these achievements it is safe to say that this is a well-deserved honor for the Russian.
