The Cincinnati Open has been a great tournament so far and is currently in its final days with only the semi-finals and the finals to be played. This tournament has been full of drama and excitement and we all as fans are happy to witness such a great ATP/WTA 1000 tournament that has given us some memorable matches just before the upcoming US Open.

There is no doubt that we have enjoyed the matches, but there has been some controversy in the tournament as well. One of the most controversial matches was between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Jack Draper. This was a match which had a lot of drama where the final winning shot Draper caused a lot of problems for the officials. It turns out the ball had bounced in Draper's end before but there was no video proof of that and the match ended up going in the Englishman's favor.

Djokovic gives him peace of mind

There have been plenty of experts and professionals who have given their views on this matter and some of them also include Serbian legend and 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic. The Serb was always known to express himself and this was another incident where he chose to speak his mind stating " It’s embarrassing that we don’t have video replay of these kind of situations on the court, What’s even more ridiculous is that we don’t have the rule in place that would allow chair umpires to change the original call based on the video review that happens off the court!"

This statement proves that the legendary player who is also considered the greatest of all time was not happy with the officials regarding this decision. We could not agree with Djokovic more that there have to be some measures taken by the officials on this matter as situations like these should not go out of hand as they did in the match.
