Tennis stalwarts Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have been in red-hot form, dominating the clay courts. The two last met in the Italian Open 2025 final, where the Spaniard defeated the home favourite to win the title. The duo has been in stellar form and aims to secure the title here.

Sinner has been in red-hot form, winning the first Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open 2025. Following this, he served a doping ban and made his return at the Rome Masters 2025. The star player reached the finals of the 1000 tournament.

On the flip side, Carlos Alcaraz is the defending champion at Roland Garros and will aim to defend his title, just as Sinner did with his Australian Open title. The four-time Grand Slam winner has triumphed at the ABN AMRO Open, the Italian Open, and the Monte Carlo Masters, while also making it to the Barcelona Open final. He appears to be in exceptional form, and we might see him winning the French Open 2025.

However, the duo must be aiming for Grand Slam glory here. Similarly, Jannik Sinner's coach, Simone Vagnozzi, has discussed the pressure faced by two young stars. In the same conversation, the Italian coach mentioned Alcaraz's documentary, Carlos Alcaraz: My Way, and how the documentary intended to portray living life like a normal person for enjoyment.

"Yes, it was nice. It is important to understand that these are 22/23-year-olds who sometimes would also like to live a life. Instead, often as soon as there is a defeat everyone massacres them and it seems like they can never lose. But we must remember that these are kids who sacrifice a lot to do what they like," Vagnozzi said.
