Carlos Alcaraz predicts Djokovic in Australian Open 2025
It is already clear that Novak Djokovic will be looking forward to making a comeback next season and has his eye on the Australian Open. Out of all the players, his current rival and 4-time Grand Slam winner Carlos Alcaraz predicted his performance in the Grand Slam event.
He said, "We’ve seen before that it doesn’t matter that he doesn’t play an official match for two, three, four months because he’s going to come again and be able to win the tournament, be able to show a high level of tennis. So in the Australian Open, it depends on how hungry he is. If he goes to Australia with hunger, he is going to be one of the favourites to win Australia."
Though Djokovic might not be in his peak form anymore, we have to agree with Alcaraz that when Djokovic has set his eyes on winning and still has the fight in him, there is no beating him. This prediction from the young Spaniard hypes up the fans even more to see how he performs in Melbourne.
