Medvedev speaks on his possibility of taking the coaching role.

Medvedev is known to have one of the best minds in the game of tennis and we could all see that when he won the US Open title back in 2021. He was seen giving some advice to the players during the Laver Cup which led to journalists asking him about the possibility of coaching to which the Russian openly said, "I think I could do it. It depends on what I want to do, and what will I be doing in my life after my tennis career. It depends on a lot of things. I think it's very possible."

These were some confident words from the Russian on taking on the job, but it is the words after that which caught everyone's attention as he further adds to the statement saying, "I like the life on tour. If I were a coach, I probably would not travel 40 weeks on tour as I do now. A little bit less. I could do it. I'm not sure I'd be a good one, but I can try." This is an honest statement from World Number 5 where though he hopes to try, but is not sure if he will succeed in that role.
