Rohan Bopanna started his life from humble beginnings being the son of a Coffee planter in the city of Bengaluru, Karntaka and was born on 4th March 1980. However this did not stop him from pursuing the sport of tennis starting from the age of 11. He turned pro in 2003 at the age of 23 and though there were some promising games we saw in his singles career we couldn't see him gain a lot of success due to some underwhelming performances and injuries. However, the shift to doubles managed to be a career changing move for him.

Bopanna has gone on to win 6 ATP Masters 1000 titles and also won 2 Grand Slam titles which include the Australian Open in 2024 with Matthew Ebden and the mixed doubles title at the Roland Garros in 2017 with Gabriela Dabrowski. Both Supriya and Bopanna have been married for 12 years and also gave birth to their beautifull daughter Tridha Bopanna in 2019 who is currently 5-years-old.
