Many players in tennis live up to the expectations and go on to win some big titles in their careers and become one of the best in the world. However, this is not the case for every popular player on the cards. There are even players who despite all their talents do not make it to the top of the rankings at all.

One of the players is the Greek God Stefanos Tsitsipas, who is undoubtedly one of the gifted all-court players in the game, who has impressed us with some great performances but has been lacking consistency. Tsitsipas has also made it to the top 10 and made it to the Grand Slam finals twice. Unfortunately, he still hasn't won a major title, and despite having a few decent performances in the Clay season, once again disappointed with some disappointing matches towards the end and failed to keep his place in the top 10 once again.

Tsitsipas's trainer gives a harsh statement

There are a lot of questions about Tsitsipas even after being one of the popular players in the game, he still has not been able to reach his peak performance. It's hard to think that a player like Tsitsipas has still not won a Grand Slam title. To learn about the Greek God his former trainer Christos Fiotakis stated " I'm not happy with Stefanos' work ethic. Beyond that, some things are beyond my control." with this Fiotakis also mentioned that he was not happy with the atmosphere of his team as well, who he believes has not been up to mark.

Fiotakis also further mentioned what the aims of the Greek number 1 are saying, "For now, I don't think his ultimate goal is to play tennis, reach the top of the rankings or win Grand Slam tournaments. This is why I can't travel for seven months straight, with only 25 days at home when the goals aren't high and I travel just to travel." This might be one of the harshest statements from someone who has worked with the player for a long time but might be some constructive criticism as well to push him to the limits.
