Tennis sensation Aryna Sabalenka took her revenge for the Australian Open 2025 final loss to Madison Keys after defeating the American star to storm into the final showdown of the Indian Wells Masters 1000 tournament. The Belarusian defeated Keys with a scoreline of 6-0, 6-1 in the semi-final of the Indian Wells 2025.
The Belarusian dominated the game since the start of the play and took a lead after winning the first set. The 26-year-old star player continued her great form in the next set, showcasing her aggressive game and smacking stunning shots to thwart the 2025 Australian Open champion and world number five out of the marquee event.
However, Sabalenka seems to have a daunting task in the next game. The star player is set to face the 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva in the final showdown. The young tennis sensation has toppled world number two and defending champion Iga Swiatek in the semi-finals to book a berth in the marquee event. Notably, Andreeva has recently won the Dubai Tennis Duty Free Championships.

Why do you ask that question?
Speaking about the same subject, Sabalenka has opened up about facing Mirra Andreeva in the Indian Wells 2025 final. The Belarusian, who aims to win her first-ever title in California, revealed that she is depressed currently despite her opponent being very young compared to her. The 26-year-old star aims to defeat her in the next round to lift the trophy.
“No, it doesn't matter. I passed this stage of thinking about the age of my opponent. It just, you know -- I don't know. I still feel like I'm 18. You know, it's just so awkward for me to think that I'm 26 and 27 this year, and she's 17 and is, like, just two years older than my sister. I look at my sister as, like, a kid. You know, I remember her being this little baby. So I look at Mirra and think, oh, my God, I'm so old. Yeah, that's just crazy. I'm depressed right now. Why do you ask that question? I'm almost 30," Aryna Sabalenka said ahead of final game.
