Daniil Medvedev admits clay court struggles
Thereafter, he was seen using some cringy and nasty words in the French Open post-match conference. The Russian star angrily confronted reporters, saying he will stop playing the clay court tournaments from next year after his heartbreaking French Open 2025defeat.
However, the Russian star has admitted his clay court struggles. The 29-year-oldtennis star has recalled his strong performances in the Italian Open and Madrid Open and how hard he had performed to mark his impact in the Roland Garros.
“Honestly, man. I might skip the clay season next year. Fu*k clay. Every tournament is so different. This one is so different from Rome and Madrid. [The] clay, the balls, everything. I had one week here. I didn't find anything that worked well. So during the match, I had to change something when I was losing. It actually worked. Unfortunately, I didn't win. Something started to change on Tour, I had to adapt. Now I'm never sure,” Daniil Medvedev said after the loss.
