There have been a lot of top players who are playing in the currently ongoing Grand Slam event happening in New York. There are a lot of great players in the currently ongoing US Open this season. However one of the biggest favourites of the tournament is the Italian sensation Jannik Sinner who is also the current World number one and will also be looking to get his hands on his second Grand Slam title this season.

Though we all are looking forward to seeing Jannik Sinner in the contest there has been a lot of debate on his doping controversy all over the tennis fraternity. While some people say that he deserves to be banned after failing the test, other people are supporting him since the substance found in his body was not intentionally taken at all. Overall there are a lot of people who have given their opinion on this matter and it has been a topic of discussion for everyone.

Toni Nadal gives his opinion

There have already been a lot of great minds in the World of tennis who have given their opinion on this matter, but right now one of the greatest coaches in tennis Toni Nadal has also given his words of wisdom in this matter saying " It is absolutely clear to me that the Italian player does not want to commit any infraction, and even more so, not to seek any advantage through the use of prohibited substances.”

There is no doubt that the legendary coach is in support of the young Italian further adding to the statement saying " I know the player well enough to be able to say without a shadow of a doubt that he is one of the most correct and well-mannered guys on the circuit. For me, it is unthinkable that he could act in an unfair manner.” These words of Nadal are clear that he believes that Sinner should not be blamed entirely due to the doping test failures and is not in support of how the media treating the matter as well.
