Tennis and style often go hand in hand, and one can't possibly ignore fashion things in the tennis game. Whether it is legends like Nadal's signature sleeveless tops or Federer's iconic logo, this game is all about more than just backhands and forehands and a neon ball popping over the net areas. However, some of the tennis players became iconic while others have brought disappointment. One case is with now Carlos Alcaraz, whose 2025 Australian Open hairstyle has left fans in shock.

Notably, the star player has returned to his old hairstyle ahead of the 2025 season's first Grand Slam major, and this 2024 Wimbledon winner has set his eyes on completing the Grand Slam in the Australian Open, slated to take place from January 12 in Melbourne. For that, this Spaniard has now chosen a kangaroo, thinking it would be a fitting tribute to Melbourne.

Meanwhile, a Twitter tennis account has recently shared Alcaraz's new look, fresh from a salon visit to his hairstylist. The world number three donned his old look from the 2022 USA Open. The Spain-born star sported a short, clean-cut hairstyle featuring a top and fades on the sides.

“I have it in mind, I have in mind to get a tattoo of the kangaroo. I’m going to try to have a good holiday first. For me it’s super important to be able to disconnect from tennis. And to come back fresh for the pre-season so that it’s brilliant, brutal, to arrive in Australia in the best possible shape both tennis-wise, physically and mentally. The goal is to complete the ‘Grand Slam’ in Melbourne,” Carlos Alcaraz said.
