Federer's coach questions Djokovic's motivation.
There are already some people who have talked about Novak Djokovic's plans for the upcoming season and whether he will play in Turin or not. This time it was Former World number 3 Ivan Ljubicic who started questioning the motivation of Djokovic saying, "I don’t know, and I believe he doesn’t know either at the moment, In my opinion, his goal is the tournaments and not the ranking because to climb higher, he would have to play much more. He is neither physically nor mentally prepared for it, but he showed us in Shanghai that when he wants to compete, he can challenge the best."
Through this statement, Ivan who has coached the likes of Roger Federer has made it clear that Djokovic has chosen to concentrate on Grand Slams and performances and thinks he might be struggling to get going physically and mentally. Through this, it seems that Ivan doubts that Djokovic is going to stay on top of the rankings this season since he might be looking to play even fewer games next season which could affect him a lot.
