What are the glaring gaps in Carlos Alcaraz's career? Andrea Petkovic highlighted:
However, it seems that there are some still-glaring gaps in Carlos Alcaraz's career, as highlighted by former German tennis star Andrea Petkovic in the recent episode of Rennae Stubbs's podcast. The 37-year-old expressed her concerns about what Carlos Alcaraz lacks as compared to the rest of the tennis players. The tennis analyst feels that the Spaniard doesn't have a plan B as compared to Alexander Zverev, Jannik Sinner, and Novak Djokovic.
"The one quibble I have with Carlos is what the others don't have: Zverev doesn't have, even Taylor doesn't have, Jannik definitely doesn't have, and Novak definitely doesn't have. When Carlos is bad, he is f*cking horrendous. He doesn't have a plan B. Look, he played fantastic. He played better than me the fourth and fifth set. It's how it is. I felt like this Grand Slam final I did everything I could. At the US Open, I kind of gave it away myself. It's a bit different," Andrea Petkovic said as being quoted by Sportskeeda.
