The Davis Cup group stages are currently in its final few days and we have already seen some memorable performances from some of the top players in the game. There have been great performances from some teams in these last few days and some shocking results as well. It is safe to say that this International tournament has been a joy to witness so far.

One of the biggest shocking defeats we saw yesterday was when Great Britain suffered one of their biggest losses against Argentina, who were the underdogs in the competition. Argentina had lost their first game against Canada, which made their chances against the Island nation a little bleak. However, the Argentines have kept their chances alive and beat the Great Britain side 2-1 to make this tournament even more interesting.

Jack Draper does not live up to US Open standards.

There were a lot of expectations from British number one Jack Draper, who was one of the key players in this game. After all, he had just broken into the top 20 recently and had a great run at the US Open where he made it to his first Grand Slam semi-final.

However, he ended up facing a disappointing straight loss against Francisco Cerundolo as he lost to him in straight sets. Though the doubles team of Daniel Evans and Neal Skupski did manage to get the wins, the singles players could not get the desired results at all which has made Great Britain's chances even tougher as they will be facing an in-form Canadian side in the group going forward.

This was Draper's first game of the Davis Cup and there is no doubt that he will be disappointed that he has not been able to bring his great form from the Grand Slam event to this tournament. There is still one more game to go and we hope we get to see his best game in the upcoming bout against group favourites Canada.
