World number 10 and Australian number one Alex de Minaur has crashed out from the Indian Wells 2025 Masters tournament in fourth round after a stunning defeat against star player Francisco Cerundolo. The Argentine-born star has defeated the Aussie tennis sensation with a scoreline of 7-5, 6-3, and made it to the quarter-finals of the marquee event.
However, the 26-year-old tennis star has a big challenge in his next round as he will be facing four-time major champion and two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the last eight round after the Spaniard registered a stellar win over Bulgarian star Grigor Dimitrov during his fourth round clash.
Notably, Alex de Minaur seems to have had his opportunities against the number 25-seeded player but failed to capitalize on three of the 14 break points in the game, which the Argentinian sealed all to mark a straight-sets win.
